Returns and exchanges are not accepted based on the custom nature of each order. If you decide to not proceed during the process, you will not be penalized a cancellation fee, however, deposit will be forfeited. Please inform me at your earliest convenience if you wish to cancel. Once a cancellation has been made I am unable to undo and must place a new order if you have changed your mind. The deposit may not apply to a different order if you change your mind or wish to cancel.
MISSPELLINGS/ INCORRECT WORDING
Out the Box Creative is not responsible for misspellings in approved proofs, please triple check all spelling, grammar, capitalization. We highly encourage that you send an emailed proof to a family member or friend for viewing.
When ordering envelope printing services, please double check list before submitting final list. Guest name(s) and address is copied directly as is. No changes will be made on my part. Envelopes are reviewed prior to sending but encourage reviewing.
Returns based on color are not accepted. All computer monitors are different, so your prints may be slightly different. I do match my color swatches but but due to the custom nature of printing, these colors can vary and may be slightly different in between print runs. I do always try my best to match swatches or colors as mentioned to make every print as beautiful. Materials such as cardstock, ribbon etc may differ from phone to computer screen, etc. For this reason, if a specific color is desired a sample purchase is advisable to view in person for color reference. I try my best to guide, however, I have no reference of your colors.
Please take a moment to view turnarounds. Also note, I am closed on weekends and holidays. I do take vacation dates off as well. I will note on my headline and notify you well in advance before closing. Many attempts will be made prior to my closing. If I hear no response or you do not meet deadlines and you wish to cancel, deposit is forfeited. It is the responsibility to send all information, changes, approval and payment within the deadline upon closing shop.
Prices are subject to change at anytime. You will be granted the original price if you were quoted 2 weeks prior.
Samples are sent within 5-10 business days. Samples are not customizable and may be sent in random colors. I strongly recommend taking a sample set to your local post office for weighing, pricing and to discuss the best delivery method for mailing out.
Each order shipping cost is based on where you live and amount of invites being ordered. Shipping prices are not included in the per invite price and is an additional cost that is not listed on the deposit listing. I typically ship through USPS carrier but will notify otherwise. An automatic shipping notice with tracking is sent when order has shipped. Please note, I am not responsible for items being delayed, lost or damaged through carrier. I do recommend insurance with your order. You have 5 days to review your order if you need extras, you found an error and need to correct, etc. After these days, the same 3-4 production turnaround may apply.
Due to embellished invitations I highly recommend having your invitations hand canceled through post office. Postage and mailing is the responsibility of the client and I can only advise to
the best of my knowledge and experience. Out the box creative cannot be held responsible for any extra postage or mishandling by the postal office as pricing changes periodically. I highly suggest ordering a sample.
I am currently not accepting international orders. I do apologize for the inconvenience.
WHEN TO ORDER WEDDING INVITATIONS
Start dates range from about 10 to 40 days from the time that the deposit is made. Timing all depends on how quickly you respond and approve proof. Please consider placing invitation orders 3 to 4 months before you plan on mailing them out.
After deposit, I will send a list of wording and a form for you to fill out with your specifics.
Forms are due 3 days after sending. If form is not sent during this time, I advise you to notify me as the delay may push back your proof date as I attend to first come first serve. I will then send you the first proof after 5 days or sooner. If this is a custom invitation please allow additional time (5-10 additional business days). You can then make edits/changes and are due within 5 days or sooner. I will then send you the next proof and so on for a total of 3 proofs. The sooner you reply the sooner the process.
The final balance is due before printing begins. After finalized and approved design I will go ahead and start on assembly. Assembly will vary on time of season. Please check with me or the bottom of this page for current turnaround. Typical turnaround times are 3-4 weeks after final payment. Please allow additional time for orders over 200 (please confirm with me)
There are 3 emailed proofs that are included in this process. Please be mindful
of this, an additional fee will be applied if more than 3 proofs are used (unless mistakes are made on my part).
FINAL PROOF APPROVALS
A final proof will be emailed to you right before your order goes to print. This proof once approved by you will be your printed invite.
ONCE THE FINAL PAYMENT IS MADE
Once your final payment is made, all order details - including proofs, wording, info, material choices, colors and shipping information will be considered approved and final. Out of the Box Creative is not responsible for any changes in regards to the ink color, font choice, envelope colors, ribbon material or overall design after the payment & printing has been completed. Once approved it is considered production time. If you happen to change your mind or want changes to the invitation this will be a redo which will be a new redesign and new fee will apply.
Rush orders will be considered but please convo me for more details. Rush order fee will be applied depending on complexity of design and can range from $15-$40 excluding wedding invitations. If a rush delivery fee is chosen that will also apply.
Custom invitations are welcomed but please check with me if I am available to accept a custom design. A $50 custom design fee will apply (color change or material changes are not considered as a custom design and will not require fee). Deposit will go toward the final balance. A new design will typically take an additional 5 business days added to the current timeline for first proof.
Day of wedding stationery (Programs, Menu's, Placecards etc.)
As these may be time sensitive items, the process will go a little faster than invitations. Proofs are sent within 2-4 business days. Production after approval 2-3 weeks. This will vary on current workload. Please check with me for current status.
Rush orders must be stated before placing deposit order. A rush order may not apply during the process nor after approval. Wedding invitation rush orders will require a 20% additional charge to the final balance.
